Based in New York, Priscilla Vail Caldwell is a resourceful and innovative art dealer, curator, and advisor. With confidentiality and discretion, she engages in long-term planning with collectors, artists and artists’ estates and serves as advisor to the Estate of Stuart Davis.

Guided by their specific aesthetic, interests, and goals, Vail Caldwell Projects collaborates with a select group of private collectors to build significant collections by providing strategy, conducting marketplace intelligence, negotiating purchases, bidding at auction, and performing due diligence.

Vail Caldwell holds a MA in Art History from Williams College and a BA from Northwestern University. She serves on the Advisory Committee to Northwestern’s Block Art Museum, whose mission is to emphasize and support innovative interdisciplinary study and research. She has been a board member at SculptureCenter in Long Island City, juried numerous exhibitions, taught art history, participated on panels, published essays, and was awarded a Kress Foundation Grant. Priscilla lives in the heart of Cobble Hill, Brooklyn—a vibrant community where she has had the pleasure of raising two children.
