Strong curatorial work preserves the history of art and identifies important emerging philosophies and artists. These partnerships have yielded ground-breaking exhibitions, provocative thematic shows and in-depth explorations of individual artists’ work. Teaming with artists, their estates, and leading scholars, we build platforms for viewing and thought, discovery, and discussion. We look forward to cultivating relationships with those who share our eagerness to break new ground.

Bringing a depth of expertise and engagement in modern and contemporary art together with creative and thoughtful curation, Vail Caldwell Projects has curated exhibitions that introduce exciting developments in contemporary art, reveal under-exposed artists, and provide unexpected perspectives on new and historic works.

In addition to organizing and staging exhibitions at galleries, Vail Caldwell Projects collaborates on curatorial projects with institutional clients. Most recently, we worked with Memorial Sloan Kettering to develop a cohesive program of art for its new treatment facility in Monmouth, New Jersey, inspired by art’s ability to provide mental stimulation and emotional solace for patients and visitors.
